The Fleetwood Festive Lights Fund is run by the people for the people.
A lot of the grants and funding is supplied only as long as the people of the town are involved.
Therefore we rely on local support from businesses and townspeople alike to help raise funds to light up the town centre at Christmas.
You can support our events, give donations or if you are involved with an organisation or business yourself you can raise funds to donate to the lights fund!
Larger business are encouraged to sponsor our efforts by offering help in a number of ways: donations, help with expertise, resources, manpower etc.
In return for substantial sponsorship, we are able to list you amongst our sponsors on this website and on all our promotional literature.
We would also like to trade website links to help raise the profile and awareness of the Festive Lights Fund, and your part in it.
To offer your sponsorship, please contact the Fleetwood Festive Lights Fund Committee:

Fleetwood Festive Lights Switch On is taking place 5-6pm on Thursday 4th December at the Ash Street end of Lord Street.
There will be entertainment from Shakespeare and Chaucer school choirs and a representation from Fleetwood Town Football Club will perform the count down and throw the switch for the Christmas lights. Father Christmas will be taking a well earned break from toy-making to come along in his sleigh to see the children (and to view the lights of course!).
Following the switch on there will be free live band entertainment by The Auditors, Trident , JEPS and possibly more. Bex will also perform and the Royal British Legion Club have kindly offered the services of a DJ. The raffle will be drawn and a mini-auction will take place consisting of a large flat screen TV (donated by Mike Sanderson), a good quality UK caravan holiday for 4 people (donated by Haven Holidays) and a signed Fleetwood Town Football Club Shirt.
This year's Christmas Lights will be more traditional than last years as a lot of the stock has been updated, upgraded or replaced.
The amount raised to date is just short of £13,000 and with the expected final bill to be in the region of £15,000 there just needs to be that final push. The Committee still have 30 illuminated santa heads for sale which are 36 inches high (90cms) x 28 inches wide (71 cms). They are all in need of a scrub, paint repair and rewire but an excellent bargain for anybody's Christmas display and you can even fit an energy saver bulb! These santa heads can be viewed at the switch on event or on the Fleetwood Festive Lights website and are being sold at £5 per head with all monies going to the Fleetwood Festive Lights Fund.
The Committee have worked tirelessly all through the year to raise enough money for Fleetwood's Christmas lights and wish to express their sincere thanks to sponsors and the generous people of Fleetwood without whom Fleetwood would, as once before, be in the dark at Christmas. So for everyone who made a donation, a contribution by putting money in a box, attending a fundraising event, or even buying a raffle ticket, give yourself a pat on the back and come along to help us celebrate what should be a very enjoyable evening. Hope to see you there..........
